I know summer is ending for some, but the southern summer does not end untilll... December! Hahaha, seriously it does not get cold down here that often and I feel like the seasons have shifted (just my crazy opinion, haha). But anyway, the weather for September is still a high of 90+ degrees, with the humidity being hot as heck! I decided to take advantage of this heat by creating a simple flowy lace tank top to go with any outfit which can easily transition into the fall as well.
I used a lace fabric found from Jo-Ann Fabric for $4 a yard. I used about a yard since I wear tops in a size xsmall/small.
My YouTube tutorial for those interested in making this top!
I wore this lace top with my black Levi cuffed shorts I made earlier this summer and some filgree chandelier earrings.
To transition to cooler weather I wore an oversized royal blue cardigan I purchased from Old Navy.
Simple and sweet; how I like my outfits to be! I hope your summer was wonderful, I'm trying to enjoy the rest of what the southern summer has to offer. :)
