A New Adventure: YouTube Channel!

One thing I have learned these past couple of months was that I made too many excuses and have doubted my creative abilities far too much. I learned to let go of those fears and submerged myself in a new adventure I have been afraid to follow. It was one leap to share my hobby and start a blog, but another to start a YouTube channel. I have to say I'm proud of myself. Haha.

Thank you sooo much to those who have supported me and encouraged me to do what I thought was impossible.
I have had this channel for almost 2 months, so I'm still trying to figure the ins and outs of making videos. It's a start and it is by no means perfect in any way, but I know I am headed in the right direction. No wonder I feel like I have no time to spare anymore. Hahaa. Go subscribe-- you know you want to! :)

YouTube: ClassyPeachGal --I hope to provide more inspiring DIYs each week!

Be sure to like my Facebook page as well! I'm planning for a giveaway starting September 1, 2013 for reaching my 100+ likes! Tootles! :)

Tutorial: How to Make a Floral Kimono Cardigan

I know summer is ending soon, but lately I have been seeing these gorgeous light weight floral kimono cardigans everywhere and I thought to myself... I have a blouse that I can easily turn into one! So, I rummaged through my bags and bags of clothes and found this lovely floral blouse I had for quite some time. By far one of the simplest, easiest alteration and really took no time at all!

Check out my YouTube tutorial and be sure to subscribe, lovelies! :)

The before!

The after!

The back stayed the same since I only had to cut the front.

I wore my cropped bustier I made about a year ago, with some high waisted shorts and a tan belt. I kept the look simple so the floral print can stand out.

You can basically turn any kind of top into a cardigan with this method. I am so in love with this kimono inspired cardigan!

YouTube Tutorial: Big Detachable Chiffon Bow!

Recently I made a bow cropped top with a big bow I didn't get the chance to do a tutorial on, so I wanted take this time to do a tutorial on YouTube on how to make a detachable big bow that can go with any outfit!

Bows are definitely a timeless piece which adds class and cuteness to any clothing item. You can sew this bow on a top or dress, but to make it more versatile I left the bow as is.

I used a peach chiffon-like fabric which gave the bow a beautiful flow. I hope my YouTube tutorial is very helpful and remember to subscribe to my channel!

Since it's summer time, I attached this peach bow onto a turquoise tank top because I adore the bright color contrast! And of course I wore this top with my white high waisted jean shorts. Simple and pretty. :)

Bows are essential in my closet. :)
