Bows are adorable on pretty much anything. Another way to say 'I'm a girly girl and I love it.' I made these big bow rings out of fabric scraps from my alterations and designs. There is always a reason why I hoard things. Haha. :)
Supplies: Wire, pliers, fabric, needle and thread
To create the bow, fold the fabric and sew:
Make a ring out of the wire and attach it underneath the bow.
I made three of these cuties!
Like statement necklaces I think every girl should own a big bow ring. Makes a statement for any kind of outfit and of course if you make them yourself you can save about $10 a piece. Very crafty and easy that you'll surprise yourself when you try. ;)

Simple Gold Trim Cream Tank
Tanks are so versatile and pretty therefore I had to make this cutie. I sewed this cream tank without the gold trim at first, but I felt it was missing some pizazz so the gold trim was added after I completed the tank. Ohhh yes, just perfect and still very simple and chic. :)
I made this tank out of a tablecloth, but of course you can purchase a tank top from anywhere and add any kind of trim. I used the left over gold trim from my DIY: Gold Spiral Cuff Bracelet.
The front, back and side views.
I wore this super cute tank with dark skinnys, red pumps and chandelier earrings. :)
I can see myself wearing this as an everyday look. Very simple and sweet.

Pretty In Peach & Lace
Lace adds a touch of elegance to just about anything-- hence why I'm so obsessed. This top looked really simple, but it was a bit of a challenge to execute. I have been brainstorming a top like this for quite some time now. Thankfullyyyy, I realized to use my mannequin that I've had for almost a year which made making this top SOOO much easier. Unfortunately, since this peach lace top was a bit of a challenge I wasn't able to make a tutorial out of it, but I shall when I feel I'm capable to do so in my next designs.
In the meantime I want to show you lovelies my new top I made. I am so proud of myself and this is definitely one of my favorite tops I've made thus far.
My inspiration I found on Pinterest, of course. :)
I used some peach fabric from a pillow case and some lace from a window valance. As you can tell recycling materials is my favey!
My mannequin was truly a life saver because I was able to pin everything into place before sewing-- really what you're suppose to do, but I never really did. Haha. To each their own but honestly, I see why mannequins are so important when designing because it helps out with measurements which is something I have yet to master the skills.
Thee finished peach lace top! Front, back, and side views.
I spent about 3 days making this top and learning new things about sewing clothes along the way. Hopefully sometime soon I will understand more to be able to guide you through a tutorial.
I loooove how it turned out in the end-- surprisingly just what I envisioned. I paired this lovely peach lace top with light denim jeans from Forever 21 and taupe t-strap heels from JCPenney.
Very prim and proper, yes? :)

A Peek Into My Past Designs
I found these photos of a burnt orange dress and turquoise/aqua blouse I made while I was in college about 2 years ago. Hahaha it's so funny to see how much I've learned and improved over the years even though I had a year break from sewing. I apologize for the blurry pictures. I didn't have the best camera at the time, but you can still see my designs.
My burnt orange dress with a gold braided belt, lace tights and beige heels. The dress has a beautiful open draped back but unfortunately I don't have a photo of it. :(
My turquoise/aqua blouse with chandelier earrings and jeans.
Ohhh it's so fun to look back and see how far I've come. I'm not a fashion designer whatsoever, I simply just love sewing and making my own clothes out of inspirations or what I envision. My sewing is not perfect, I make mistakes quite often but through those mess ups I eventually learn to be a better sewer. Just because a garmet I make doesn't turn out perfectly, it's still a nice feeling I created it with my own hands. It takes time and patience for sure and I shall continue to improve with every design I make. Sewing is such a passion of mine and the best hobby I could possibly ever pick up-- it's a nice gateway to my creative side.
I hope you enjoyed my little blast from the past. Haha. :)

5 Minute Cheesecake
Finally! The recipe that I have teased you with and some of you have anticipated so I'm excited to share this!
Yes, it's truueee! It takes only 5 minutes to make this cheesecake recipe. I added strawberries to mine since I didn't want a plain cheesecake, but of course you can put other kind of berries or whatnot to satisfy your cravings.
This is the original recipe that I tried the first time and it didn't turn out too well for me possibly because I didn't follow the directions correctly. :P I used a whole can of condensed milk and it ended up too runny so I had to freeze the cheesecake. This second time around I found a better mixture that worked for me. Yaya!
Switch up the recipe a bit for your own liking. For me, I love revising recipes I find so I can make it my own.
So, these are the only 5 ingredients you'll need for the basic cheesecake. I added strawberries to mine so I technically have 5 ingredients. Hehe.
* 1/2 cup condensed milk (or a little less if you want it less creamy)
* 2 boxes 8 oz cream cheese (leave out an hour before so it can be softer to mix)
* 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
* cool whip and a graham crust (or whatever crust you prefer)
PLEASE NOTE: The filling I made this time was very thin, so the ingredients above is doubled for those who want a lot of filling. If not, you can cut the ingredients in half. The photos I took was only half of the ingredients above, but I went ahead and revised it for those who want a plain cheesecake or just more filling in general. So sorry for the confusion! Haha.
These were my ingredients:
I began by prepping the strawberries and slicing them into the ready made graham crust.
Then for the cheesecake filling mix the cream cheese, condense milk, lemon or lime juice together until it is thick and creamy.
Afterwards pour the filling into the graham crust and smooth it over. Put a lid or saran wrap over the cheesecake and chill for about 2 to 3 hours. The graham crust came with a plastic covering on top so I just flipped the plastic covering over and used it as a lid. So very neat, yes. :)
Once it's nice and chilled put whip cream on top if you like. I did because I'm addicted to whip cream-- and anything sweet really. Haha.
Cut off a slice or two or three and enjooyyy! The perfect dessert when you're on a crunch for time.
This strawberry cheesecake was fast, easy and so delicious. Definitely a recipe I will be making quite often and I'll be sure to try some different fruits! Give it a try and let me know how it turns out! I hope you like this recipe as much as I do! :)
